When considering other products please ask these important questions...

  • Do the panels have to be built slat by slat? This means your build time is going to be at least three times as long and is not as strong as welded panels.
  • Some DIY pool pump covers use fixed baseplates which offer no ability to level the enclosure. Unless your slab is perfectly level the front doors will never align with each other.
  • Is the construction all aluminium? Some cheaper aluminium screening products use plastic post caps & panel caps.
  • How long is the delivery time? Built to order enclosures take at least 6 weeks to arrive.
  • Can you return the enclosure? Since most are built to order they cannot be returned for change of mind or a measuring mistake.
  • Is it a complete system or will you need to do additional shopping? Most other enclosures do not include brackets or fixings to attach them to the rear wall or to the ground.
  • Are the gas strut pressures individualised to the weight of the lid? Some product ranges use the same gas strut pressure for all cover sizes resulting in too much pressure for their smaller lids and too little for their heavier, larger lids.
  • Does the design of the lid prevent the enclosure from being installed directly against a wall? Some aluminium screening products have a lid that requires a gap between the rear of the enclosure and the wall in order for the lid to open, meaning rainwater will forever pour in over the electricals.

Measure the width, depth and height of your pool equipment. The inside width of the enclosures are 80mm less, the inside depth is 40mm less and the inside height is also 40mm less. Your concrete slab should be at least 20mm wider and 20mm deeper than the enclosure to allow for attaching the post feet to the slab.

This pool pump cover requires a sturdy wall or fence to secure to and a concrete slab to attach the feet to.

Our easy to follow installation guide has simple instructions & diagrams. Only a cordless drill with Phillips, hex & masonry bits, a spirit level and protective glasses & N95 mask are required. 

The panels are supplied fully welded saving you the time consuming installation of individual slats.

Heat pumps require plenty of ventilation and should not be fully enclosed. Please refer to your heat pump manual for ventilation requirements.

Gas pool heaters should never be enclosed due to the potential buildup of poisonous fumes.

Before installing a pool pump cover, please ensure that the location of it will not endanger children by creating a climbable pool safety barrier. If in doubt please consult a Pool Safety Inspector for guidance.
